Making a difference We initiated our activity with talented, highly motivated, high-school boys and girls from weak socio-economic sectors. Teenagers for which the proper doors were always shut. We thought that if a 14 year old boy can hack into the Pentagon main-frame, why not tap his potential into more positive channels that are better appreciated by society. In cooperation with schools, we, in the Neter group for Technological Initiative, introduce ourselves to students calling them to join our success, regardless of their grades, and open a door for the their future with one of our profession : Computer-network management / Software development

Methodology Basic technical English and familiarity with IT concepts are of importance if the student is to succeed in the project. Suitable tutoring will be available for students in the course of a preparatory school: Technical English and IT concepts course. Basic course in computerized environment. Preparatory school will include one semester with aptitude tests in its end directing the students into one of two divisions : Advanced software development Computer System management Classes are taught by senior lecturers from High-Tech college and We! company with cooperation of and recognition by Microsoft. The duration of the studies is 5 - 6 semesters. Classes will start in the school and later on continue in High-Tech college in Herzliya or in other facilities (depending on availability and on the number of participants of each region) at the frequency of one to two meetings every week for the duration of 4 academic hours.

Existing activities Amit Group – Batya Village Amit Group – Batya was founded in l955, as an elegant historical village for students and mature students, and is used today as an Israeli public key foundation. There are five study units all different, situated near the boarding school. In all the schools there is emphasis on technological science studies. Many students take matriculation in physics, biology, life sciences, agriculture, computer science, electronics and biotechnology. In this framework with the Neter Group the students study the requested area of computers: P.C. technician – a course MCDST, in order to become absorbed in technical computerization, and network management in their future working lives. OFAKIM YOUTH The Microsoft Company – Ofakim Group joined up in order to work with youth of limited means in the town of Ofakim. The Neter Group qualify youth with high academic ability. They take 4 or 5 point matriculation exams. Alfa Menashe Rehabilitation of Village Youth Within the framework where the country is not functioning the Neter Group took a group of students to work in November 2003 to work as volunteers for “From all the heart”. The women help the students to use old computers, which were a donation from various organizations and are given to needy children, and then they are instructed on how to use them. The Neter Group qualifies them to be |Network Managers, using their experience with computers. The Graduates Activities – Witzo Women The Neter Group in cooperation with the Witzo Organization contribute in making the social gap smaller and digital. These women identify and help give them work and understand computers. The project is called “From all the heart” – Gila Waxman’s initiative to advance students in the settlement. It was established in the computer laboratory. Deprived youth learn to use old computers which donated by various organizations. The Agam Project – “From all the heart” The Agam Company carries out the Orot employment in Israel. This company has joint ownership with Martenas Hoffman - |Kaldar Grloup. The employment centers of Agam operate in Nazareth and Upper Nazareth. The main idea is to help people receive financial support to become absorbed in the work circle with help from instructors. The central labour exchange helps the clients and accompanies them in the process of becoming part of the work circle. In cooperation with the |Neter Group clients were taught and qualified to become inspectors in programming in an advanced area, using development tools in the programming industry. This initiative has proved that you can attach deprived groups of youth withouty previous background in computers. Graduates of the studies has shown motivation to persevere and develop. Project Meir Panim – Kiriat Gat Twenty five Ethiopian youth who had completed their army service, started a study program and the graduates will be absorbed according to their ability and emphasis on their MSCRM qualification from the Microsoft Company - they will be specialized at the end of the study course. This project takes place in a new computer center that was established at the Meir Panim in Kiriat Gat. The length of the course is six months. As a concession, active students volunteer in five social organizations in the town. This is the positive result of the cooperation between the Meir Center and the Neter Group. This course is one of the professional courses that is given all over Israel for groups of abused women, unemployed, new immigrants, army graduates, senior citizens and youth in danger. This is the main idea of the center in order to help release the needy from the vicious circle of poverty and help them lead a respectful and independent life
